Inspired by the masterpiece of Mehdi Akhavan-Sales, this work is a visual translation of the poem ‘Winter’ (Zemestan). Through a dense and layered composition, the artist captures the cold, somber atmosphere of a world where ‘breath becomes a dark cloud’ and ‘heads are tucked into collars.’ The intricate, overlapping calligraphy mirrors the social and emotional isolation described in the poem, transforming the literary rhythm into a haunting visual landscape.
