Part of the “Crossing” collection, this work is a minimalist and powerful interpretation of spiritual transition, inspired by the modern poetry of Sohrab Sepehri. The artist uses a monumental, vertical calligraphic gesture to represent the act of “passing through” and moving toward distant horizons. The intentional density of the ink and the visible speed of the brushstrokes create a sense of forward momentum. By stripping the script to its most essential, rhythmic form, the work captures the poetic essence of a journey into the unknown.
