The Horizon of Hope
The Horizon of Hope is a visual manifestation of the delicate balance between despair and longing. In this work, the circular form acts as a gateway, where the dense, earthly weight of ink meets a transcendent, stippled atmosphere of light. Inspired by the poetry of Bismil Bakharzi, the composition illustrates the moment where the ‘dark smoke’ of existence reaches the luminous countenance of the Moon. It is a meditative study of the space between what is lost and what is sought, captured through the rhythmic precision of calligraphy and pointillism.
